With shorter, wider, and more compact outlines, these new boards start planing even earlier than the Wave line, also with more power-upwind ability and a slightly faster rocker. They are perfectly balanced for on-shore winds or conditions that are just not as front-side wave oriented as spots like Ho'okipa. That’s why the series sizes start a bit bigger and go higher up in volume.

The new Goya Custom Wave Series boards are shorter, not wider, with even better performance from our previous WAVE line in full on frontside conditions and through the reduced length they’ve got easier to ride on the smaller waves and in side-on or on-shore conditions where the turns get tighter. The 68 and 75 perform well anywhere the winds are strong, including lakes and spots with side-shore and on-shore winds. I especially recommend these sizes for intermediate to advanced sailors who will be riding in medium to strong winds.
